Aletheia House is looking for custodians to work at the Aletheia House in Birmingham
The custodian is responsible for maintaining the Aletheia House facilities by providing a clean environment for staff and clients.
-Clean facility as needed.
-Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by emptying and taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces.
-Sweep, mop, and wax floors, hallways, and restrooms; vacuum carpets.
-Clean kitchen and restroom areas by washing and sanitizing toilets, sinks, surfaces, railings, handles, showers, etc. Responsible for restocking disposables (e.g. soap, tissue, paper towels, etc.)
-Wipe and clean mirrors and windows
-Remove all paper and debris from vacant apartment
-Report major and minor damages to the veteran’s services manager
-Maintain accurate, complete and timely documentation of all work
-Attend staff meetings and in-services trainings as directed and perform other duties as assigned by the treatment coordinator, chief operating officer and/or executive director.
-Experience with janitorial services preferred
$15.00-$18.75/Hourly – Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 pm Total 20-25 Hours/Weekly
