Aletheia House is looking for an individual to provide cleaning services at:
Location of Position: 1153 Air Base Blvd., Montgomery, AL 36108
Location of Position: 3320 Skyway Drive, Suite 709, Opelika, AL 36801
Position Summary:
The custodian is responsible for maintaining the clinic by providing a
clean environment for staff and clients. The custodian works closely with the treatment services
coordinator and chief operating officer to accomplish the mission and service goals of Aletheia
House.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Clean facility as needed
-Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by emptying and taking out trash, tidying furniture
and dusting surfaces
-Sweep, mop, and wax floors, hallways, and restrooms; vacuum carpets
-Clean kitchen and restroom areas by washing and sanitizing toilets, sinks, surfaces, railings,
handles, showers, etc. Responsible for restocking disposables (e.g. soap, tissue, paper towels,
etc.)
-Wipe and clean mirrors and windows
-Remove all paper and debris from rooms, hallways and common clinic areas
-Report major and minor damages to the treatment services coordinator
-Maintain accurate, complete and timely documentation of all work
-Attend staff meetings and in-services trainings as directed and perform other duties as
assigned by the treatment services coordinator, chief operating officer and/or executive director
-Qualifications:
-Experience with janitorial services preferred
-High School Diploma or GED preferred
Job Salary:
$17.50/Hourly – Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Hours:
Monday-Friday, flexible hours (2 hours per shift)
Total 4 hours per week
