Aletheia House is looking for an individual who wants to make a difference in the lives of
individuals recovering from substance abuse in the drug court setting. Area served is Dallas
County, AL and surrounding areas.
Location of Position: Selma, AL (Dallas County and surrounding areas).
Office Location of Position: Selma, AL
Position Summary:
The drug court case manager/outreach worker will provide case management and recruitment,
and follow up for the program. The drug court case manager/outreach worker is responsible for
providing support services to the enhanced drug court participants. The drug court case
manager/outreach worker works closely with the treatment coordinator to accomplish the
mission and service goals of Aletheia House.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Assist clients and participants to obtain appropriate mainstream resources including, but not
limited to food stamps, employment, medical, and dental services
-Ensure housing stabilization, maximum levels of self-sufficiency, and overall better quality of
life by maintaining frequent contact with program participants
-Provide assessment to determine case management needs and to complete intake CPRA tool
and follow up
-Provide case management by the development of plans that address and identify issues in the
areas of housing, employment, and other life functions. Maintain client files
-Serve as an advocate for clients and participants with other service providers
-Document the history of all services provided to clients in a timely, complete, and accurate
manner
-Provide summaries and reports as required
-Provide transportation as required
-Attend staff meetings and trainings as required
-Perform other duties as assigned by the treatment coordinator, chief operating officer and/or
executive director
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in a social service field or behavioral health required
-Valid Driver’s License and good driving record required
-Motor Vehicle Report required
-QSAP 1 or II, III; QPP, TCM-9, Physician, (PA) Physician Assistant, CRNP, RN, or LPN level
required
-Licensure or case management certification required
Travel Requirements:
-Travel is required multiple days each week
-Must be willing to use and have your own personal transportation
-Mileage reimbursement for personal use of vehicle is included
Job Salary:
$34,000.00 – $40,000.00
Hours:
F/T, Exempt, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Tuesday and Thursday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
