Aletheia House is looking for individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of individuals
recovering from substance abuse. The area serviced is Jefferson County and surrounding
areas.

Location of Position: Finley IOP, Birmingham, Alabama

Position Summary:
The Healthy Living II program manager is responsible for managing the Healthy Living II
program located in Birmingham. The Healthy Living II program manager works closely with the
men’s treatment coordinator to accomplish the goals and mission of the Aletheia House.

Primary Responsibilities:
-Oversee the daily operational activities of the Healthy Living II program
-Conduct psycho-social assessments
-Complete Tx plans as required
-Provide appropriate resolution for consumer issues and concerns
-Oversee the timely, complete, and accurate completion of documentation as required by the
Aletheia House and the Alabama Department of Mental Health and other regulatory agencies
-Conduct regular reviews of documentation by staff and report on the same to the director of
behavioral health
-Perform other duties as assigned by the treatment services coordinator, director of behavioral
health, chief operating officer and/or executive director
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Knowledge and experience related to the treatment of substance use disorders and
co-occurring substance use and mental disorders
-Ability to lead a team with diverse members located in varying counties

Qualifications:
-Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in behavioral health with a clinical
practicum
-Licensure as a LPC or LCSW preferred
-Certification as an Addiction Counselor preferred
-Certification as a substance abuse professional or the ability to achieve certification within two
years
-Licensure as a supervisor is a plus
-At least five years experience providing substance abuse treatment services preferred
-Must be eligible to provide Medicaid services
-Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
-Motor Vehicle Report requiredTravel Requirements:
-Daily travel is required
-Must be willing to use and have your own personal transportation
-Must have a current Driver’s License and good driving record
-Motor Vehicle Report required
-Mileage reimbursement for personal use of vehicle is included

Job Salary:
$42,000.00 – $48,000.00/Annually
Hours:
F/T Exempt – Monday- Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm – Total Hours – 40
