Job Title: Information Technology Manager
Location: Birmingham, AL
Reports To: Associate Director of Administration
Classification: Full Time, Exempt
Position Summary:
The Information Technology Manager will manage and direct Aletheia House’s information technology (IT) operations, ensuring the department provides efficient and effective technical support service.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Leads development and implementation processes for the organization’s IT systems and department including acquisition, installation, and other IT related services.
- Develops and implements business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss
- Analyzes IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs
- Assesses need for computer or software training in the organization. Training needs may include support for new hires, for employees in new roles or with new assignments, and for organization-wide training on new software, programs, or company-wide information technology (IT) system changes or policies
- Develops training courses and materials to be used in workshop, group, and one-on-one training sessions
- Maintains Aletheia House website including design and job postings
- Oversees security of systems, networks, and enterprise information
- Facilitates IT security audits or investigations
- Develops and maintains relationships with external IT vendors and service providers
- Coordinates multisite IT systems
- Performs other related duties as assigned

- Proficient in latest technology for IT systems and management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Thorough understanding of IT and practical applications to support the company’s goals
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and Information Systems, Information Science, Computer Engineering or similar bachelor degree required; master’s degree preferred
- At least three years of experience managing an IT department
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Travel:
20% travel required
Salary Range: $61,000 -$81,000
