Aletheia House is looking for experienced Maintenance Technician I, who has experience in Construction, Residential, and Commercial maintenance.  The area served is Montgomery County in Montgomery, AL.

Position Summary:
The maintenance technician I is responsible for providing routine maintenance for the residential and outpatient programs located in Montgomery, AL.

Primary Responsibilities:
-Perform monthly inspections and maintenance and repairs on grounds, agency buildings, and equipment in a timely professional manner (i.e. painting, flooring, carpentry, drywall, etc.).
-Properly document services provided in a complete, accurate and timely manner according to agency procedures

-Report all unusual incidents that may involve program participants, colleagues, building or equipment issues to the Treatment Coordinator
-Maintain a safe working and living environment for program participants and employees by ensuring job safety and practicing OSHA regulations
-Perform other related activities as assigned by the Treatment Coordinator

 

Qualifications:

-High school diploma or equivalent preferred
-Previous experience working within a maintenance capacity in areas of maintaining buildings, equipment, carpentry, flooring, painting, sheetrock finisher, etc. is a plus
-Ability to keep sensitive information obtained confidential.

–Must have your own tools and transportation                              

 

Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday 7a-3pm

 

Travel: 

-Minimal travel is required and varies weekly including travel to and from agency buildings, staffing, team meetings, agency training, and quarterly meetings.

-Must be willing to use and have your own personal transportation.

-Mileage reimbursement for personal use of vehicle is included.
