Aletheia House is looking for a medical assistant to work in Muscle Shoals, AL. Area served is
Colbert County.
Location of Position: Muscle Shoals, AL
Position Summary:
The medical assistant is responsible for administering COVID-19 tests to adult men and women
enrolled in outpatient substance abuse treatment and administer drug testing to MAT clients.
The medical assistant works closely with the treatment services coordinator-north to accomplish
the mission and service goals of Aletheia House.
Primary Responsibilities:
-To administer COVID-19 tests to adult men and women enrolled in outpatient treatment
services
-To administer drug testing to MAT clients
-To complete all paperwork related to rapid testing and report accurate and complete reports to
the treatment services coordinator in a timely manner
-To maintain testing inventory
-Perform other duties as assigned by the treatment services coordinator-north or chief operating
officer
Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or equivalent required
-Certification as a medical assistant or nursing assistant preferred
-Must have a valid Driver’s License and good driving record
-Motor Vehicle Report required
Travel Requirements:
-Travel two to three times per week
-Must be willing to use and have your own personal transportation
-Mileage reimbursement for personal use of vehicle is included
Job Salary:
$15.00 per Hour – P/T non-exempt – Total 10 Hours per week (schedule may vary according to clients’ needs)
