Aletheia House is looking for individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of individuals recovering from substance abuse. The areas serviced are Butler, Crenshaw, and Conecuh counties.
The peer recovery specialist-case manager will provide peer recovery services and on-call services to court-involved clients in Evergreen, Greenville, and Luverne. The peer recovery specialist-case manager works closely with the Treatment South Coordinator to accomplish the mission and service goals of Aletheia House.
-Provide peer recovery services to clients.
-Establish and maintain an appropriate peer relationship with drug court participants.
-Conduct intakes with all referrals no later than two hours during regular business hours and within one business day after regular business hours.
-Administer GPRA tool to drug court participants at intake and discharge 6 months after admission.
-Serve as the initial contact between Aletheia House and referral sources.
-Transport clients as needed.
-Be available for referrals during evenings and on weekends.
-Document the history and delivery of all services provided to clients in a timely, complete, and accurate manner in accordance with the policies of Aletheia House and the Department of Mental Health.
-Provide summaries and reports as required.
-Attend staff meetings and in-service trainings as directed.
-Perform other duties as assigned by the Treatment South Coordinator, Director of Behavioral Health, Chief Operating Officer and/or Executive Director.
-High School Diploma or GED required.
-Bachelor’s Degree in behavioral health or social services preferred.
-At least two years in recovery.
-Must be eligible to become certified as a Peer Recovery Specialist
-QPP and CRSS required.
-Experience providing supportive services a plus.
-As needed occasionally for outreach and recovery support.
-Must be willing to use and have your own personal transportation.
-Must have a valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
-Mileage reimbursement for personal use of vehicle is included.
$28,000.00 – $32,000.00/Annually
F/T Exempt – Tuesday – Saturday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
Some days will need to be flexible to meet client’s needs and/or recovery activities.
Total Hours – 40
