Aletheia House is looking for a program assistant for the Birmingham, AL area. The county
serviced will be Jefferson County, AL.
Office Location: Ash Place, 2100 16th Avenue South, Suite 301, Birmingham, AL 35205.
The program assistant is responsible for providing support to direct staff for the Temporary
Housing Partnership Program and Community Wellness team. The program assistant will also
provide program support to individuals, groups, and/or families to program participants by
working to help manage front office and billing duties. The program assistant works closely with
the Housing Coordinator and Community Wellness Coordinator. The program assistant works to
accomplish the mission and service goals of Aletheia House.
-Answer phone, take messages, and relay messages for staff
-Assist with organizing data for submission to appropriate personnel
-Assist with organizing billing
-Collect staff paperwork
-Monitor waiting area and greet guests
-Perform clerical and administrative duties
-Perform other duties as assigned by the HIV Services Manager
-High School Diploma or GED
-Must have a valid Driver’s License and good driving record
-Motor Vehicle Report required
$13.00 – $15.00 per Hour
P/T Non-Exempt – Monday-Friday – 9:00 am – 2:00 pm, Total 25-29 Hours per week
