Aletheia House is looking for an individual to provide behavorial health services to adult men who have been diagnosed with a substance use disorder, including an opioid use disorder. Area/County Served: Montgomery County.

Office Location of Position: 1153 Airbase Blvd., Montgomery, AL 36108
Position Summary:
The residential support specialist provides residential support, supervision, and medical assistance to clients in residential and supportive housing programs. The residential support specialist works closely with the treatment coordinator and chief operating officer to accomplish the mission and service goals of Aletheia House.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Ensure safe and proper conduct in the residential and supportive housing program
-Conduct regular security for compliance
-Conduct room inspections and bed checks
-Respond appropriately to emergency situations
-Properly document clients’ activities in the log and complete necessary assigned documentation
-Perform other duties as assigned by the treatment coordinator, director of behavioral health, chief operating officer, and/or executive director
Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or equivalent required. If applying as a peer, at least two years in recovery
-Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience preferred
-MAC certification eligibility required within 30 days of hire
-Medicaid eligibility needed at a QPP level
-Valid Driver’s License required
-Motor Vehicle Report required
Travel Requirements:
-Must be willing to use and have your own personal transportation
-Requires the ability to drive to meet clients’ needs and drive to staff meetings and trainings
-Mileage reimbursement for personal use of vehicle is included.
Job Salary:
$12.25-$15.00 Hourly
Hours:
Full-time, Non-Exempt Monday-Thursday, 9:45 p.m. – 7:15 a.m.
Total Hours – 40
