Aletheia House is looking for part-time security personnel for the Selma Treatment Center in the Selma, Alabama area to maintain a safe environment for tenants by monitoring and patrolling premises. Area serviced is Dallas County.
Position Summary:
Security personnel is responsible for providing security while treatment services are being provided and responsible for monitoring and patrolling tenant property to maintain a safe and secure environment. The security personnel will conduct urine tests for male offenders. Military or law enforcement experience strongly preferred. The security personnel works closely with the Treatment Coordinator, Maintenance Manager, and Executive Director to accomplish the goals, objectives, and mission of maintaining a safe environment of Aletheia House.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Secure premises by patrolling property, monitoring activity and property entry.
-Notify authorities of suspicious or threatening behavior and/or incidents.
-Report violations of policy and procedures of property grounds.
-Ensure tenants have parking passes in their vehicles for resident identification purposes.
-Participate in required staff meetings and trainings.
-Perform other duties as assigned by the Treatment Coordinator, Maintenance Manager, Clinical Director, Chief Operating Officer, and/or Executive Director.
Qualifications:
-A minimum of one years experience as a security personnel, preferred.
-High School Diploma and/or GED, preferred.
-Valid Alabama driver’s license and good driving record required.
Job Salary:
$15.00 per hour
Hours:
P/T, Non-Exempt
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:30 am – 1:00 pm
Tuesday and Thursday, 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Total Number of Work Hours: (23 hours)
