Aletheia House is looking for individuals to provide behavioral health services to adult women
who have been diagnosed with a substance use disorder, including an opioid use disorder.
Area/County Served: Jefferson County.
Location of Position: Birmingham, AL
Office Location of Position: 2772 Hanover Circle, Birmingham, AL 35205
The substance abuse professional provides residential support, supervision, and medical
assistance to clients in residential and supportive housing programs. The substance abuse
professional works closely with the women and family treatment coordinator to accomplish the
mission and service goals of Aletheia House.
-Ensure safe and proper conduct in the residential program
-Conduct regular security for compliance
-Conduct room inspections and bed checks
-Respond appropriately to emergency situations
-Properly document clients’ night activities in the log and complete necessary assigned
-Perform other duties as assigned by the women and family treatment coordinator, clinical
director, chief operating officer, and/or executive director
-Bachelor’s degree preferred. CRSS a plus for individuals in recovery.
-MAC certification eligibility required within 30 days of hire
-Valid Driver’s License required
-Motor Vehicle Report required
