Aletheia House is looking for an individual to provide behavioral health services to young adults, male and female who have been diagnosed with a substance use disorder, including an opioid use disorder.
Office Location of Position: Montgomery, AL
The therapist is responsible for providing individual, group and family counseling for clients. The therapist works closely with the treatment services manager to accomplish the mission and service goals of Aletheia House.
-Provide individual, group, and family counseling
-Conduct psycho-social assessments as needed
-Conduct psycho-educational classes with clients and their families according to the approved curriculum
-Document all services in a timely complete and clinically appropriate manner
-Serve as liaison between clients and other service providers, as applicable
-Attend staff meetings and in-service trainings as directed.
-Perform other duties as assigned by the treatment coordinator
-Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in behavioral health with a clinical practicum required.
-Ability to be eligible to perform Medicaid approved activities and be certified as a QSAP I
-Licensure and/certification as required by the Alabama Department of Mental Health (AADC/ADC, LPC, LICSW, LMFT, LMSW) preferred, or the ability to achieve licensure/certification after 30 months
-At least two years experience providing substance abuse treatment and/or prevention services preferred
-Must have valid and current Driver’s License
-Motor Vehicle Report required.
$43,000.00 – $53,700.00
F/T, Exempt, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. – 40 hours a week
-Travel required (meetings/trainings) and travel according to program needs
-Must be willing to use and have your own personal transportation
-Mileage reimbursement for personal use of vehicle is included
