Aletheia House is looking for individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of individuals
recovering from substance abuse. The county serviced will be Jefferson County.

Location of Position: Birmingham, AL
Office Location: 2100 16th Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35205

Position Summary:
The THP stabilization case manager will provide case management and to assist clients in crisis
who are at risk for eviction or loss of utilities. The THP stabilization case manager works closely
with the program manager to accomplish the mission and service goals of Aletheia House.

Primary Responsibilities:
-Assist clients in crisis/at risk of eviction or loss of utilities
-Provide financial assistance for clients with rent and utility payments
-Complete human needs assessments, monthly budgets, case plans, payment plans, and other
documentation
-Transport clients to housing related appointments
-Link clients to supportive services related to housing goals
-To document the delivery of services in a timely and professional manner in accordance with
the policies of Aletheia House and the Department of Mental Health
-Attend staff meetings and in-service trainings as directed
-Perform other duties as assigned by the SOAR program manager, director of behavioral health,
chief operating officer and/or executive director
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Excellent writing, communication, organizational and time management skills with knowledge of
English grammar, spelling and punctuation
-Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
-Exceptional interpersonal skills to relate with clients, participants and resource providers
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s Degree in behavioral health or social services required
-Experience providing supportive services a plus
Travel Requirements:
-Daily travel is required
-Must be willing to use and have your own personal transportation
-Must have a current Driver’s License and good driving record
-Mileage reimbursement for personal use of vehicle is included
-Motor Vehicle Report required

Job Salary:
$34,000.00 – $40,000.00/Annually

Hours:
F/T Exempt – Monday-Friday – 9:00 am – 5:00 pm – Total Hours – 40
