Aletheia House is looking for a part-time transporter in Birmingham, Alabama. Area serviced is Jefferson County and surrounding areas.

The transporter is responsible for providing safe transportation to class, appointments and treatment for Aletheia House clients. The transporter works closely with the Treatment Coordinator-Central, Clinical Director, Chief Operating Officer, and/or Executive Director to accomplish the mission and service goals of Aletheia House.
-Provide safe transportation to appointments and treatment for Aletheia House clients.
-Fill in as needed
-Assist with the maintenance, cleaning, and repairs of agency vehicles.
-Maintain transportation documentation as required by Aletheia House and other funding sources.
-Submit reports to Treatment Coordinator-Central or Clinical Director in a timely manner.
-Perform other duties as assigned by Treatment Coordinator-Central, Clinical Director, Chief Operating Officer, and/or Executive Director.
-Valid Alabama driver’s license and good driving record required.
-Must be able to be insured.
-Previous driving experience preferred.
-Must be eligible for MAC certification.
-This position requires daily travel in order to transport clients in Jefferson County and surrounding areas and to attend meetings and trainings located in Birmingham, AL.
-Travel (daily) as needed using agency van
-Mileage reimbursement is offered.
$11.50-$13.00 per hour
P/T, Non-Exempt – Monday, Wednesday, and Friday – 7:15 am – 9:00 am and 2:45 pm – 4:30 pm
10.50 hours per week
