Aletheia House is looking for a treatment coordinator to provide behavioral health services to adult men and women who have been diagnosed with a substance use disorder, including an opioid use disorder in Selma, Alabama. Area served is Dallas County.
Location of Position: Selma, AL
Position Summary:
The treatment coordinator is responsible for the daily operations of the rural Drug Court program, the Family Wellness Court program, the Federal Probation program in Selma, and the DMH outpatient program.
Duties Include:
-Oversee the daily operational activities of the project
-Provide supervision of all clinical and support staff of the assigned programs
-Review and approve treatment plans
-Review case plans and charts
-Provide appropriate resolution for consumer issues and concerns
-Facilitate meetings designed to improve the quality of services and report on the same to chief operating officer
-Oversee the timely, complete, and accurate completion of documentation as required by the Aletheia House and other regulatory agencies.
-Conduct regular reviews of documentation by staff and report on the same to the director of behavioral health
-Travel to the program sites on a weekly and/or monthly basis and to Birmingham at least once a month
-Perform other duties as assigned by the chief operating officer and/or executive director.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Knowledge and experience related to the treatment of substance use disorders and co-occurring substance use and mental disorders
-Ability to lead a team with diverse members located in varying counties
Qualifications:
-Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in behavioral health with a clinical practicum required
-Licensure or Certification as a substance abuse professional or the ability to achieve licensure or certification within 30 months preferred
-At least five years experience providing substance abuse treatment services preferred
-Must be eligible to provide Medicaid services
-Motor Vehicle Report required
Travel:
-Travel required daily, weekly or monthly
-Must be willing to use and have your own personal transportation
-Mileage reimbursement for personal use of vehicle is included
Job Salary:
$52,000 – $64,000
Hours:
Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm (May include evenings and weekends)
