Aletheia House is looking for an individual who wants to make a difference in the lives of individuals recovering from substance abuse in the Drug Court setting. Area and counties served are Montgomery and Butler counties
Position Summary:
The Drug Court case manager is responsible for providing support services to the enhanced drug court participants. The case manager works closely with the treatment coordinator to accomplish the mission and service goals of Aletheia House.
Location of Position:
Montgomery, AL
Primary Responsibilities:
-Help clients and participants obtain appropriate mainstream resources including, but not limited to food stamps, employment, medical, and dental services
-Serve as an advocate for patient to access community resources. When needed, this includes transporting the patient to the community resources and helping them apply for services
-Ensure housing stabilization, maximum levels of self-sufficiency, and overall better quality of life by maintaining frequent contact with program participants
-Provide case management by the development of plans that address and identify issues in the areas of housing, employment, and other life functions.
-Maintain client files
-Serve as an advocate for clients and participants with other service providers
-Document the history of all services provided to clients in a timely, complete, and accurate manner. Provide summaries and reports as required
-Provide transportation as required
-Attend staff meetings and trainings as required
-Perform other duties as assigned by the treatment coordinator, director of behavioral health, clinical director, chief operating officer and/or executive director
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in a social service field or behavioral health required
-Valid Driver’s License and good driving record required
-Case manager certification required
-Motor Vehicle Report required
Travel Requirements:
-Travel is required multiple days each week
-Must be willing to use and have your own personal transportation
-Mileage reimbursement for personal use of vehicle is included
Job Salary:
$36,000
Hours:
F/T, Exempt, Monday – Thursday Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. – 40 Hours
